Establishing rapport is a process that involves two people getting to know each other and it takes time. The amount of time varies between people and it is your role to take the lead and use their perception and skill to build rapport with their clients in the shortest time possible. Clients new to property investment will not know what to expect from their meetings with a property investment advisor and may know little about property investment. You must try to make clients feel as comfortable as possible and encourage them  to ask any questions they need to.

It is important that you develop their capacity for empathy and understanding so that they can help clients feel that they are not alone in their situation.
